Most people have read four Shakespeare plays, all of them assigned at school, and have quietly assumed the rest are more of the same. They are not. Draw one a month, read it properly or watch a good production, and a year in you will have opinions about the problem plays. The comedies and histories are where the surprises live. The tragedies are famous for good reason but they are not the whole writer. Reading groups: draw together, discuss at month end, no spoilers from the film versions.
